Not to continually compare this to the sims excessively, but the customization options are making me realize how much the sims business model relies on the lack of customization.

Paralives promised all future updates being free, so for the price of one Sims 4 expansion you get an amazing game with a lot of heart in it. I can't wait to see the future of Paralives.

I'm already 10 hours into the game and I feel like I'm still struggling with money despite having 2 Parafolk who both have 2 jobs each. My one bedroom house is still unfinished and my bills are over 1k. Best 10 hours of my life (EDIT/UPDATE - I did pick the difficult storyteller. My water usage/bill is the problem and is currently in the thousands despite not changing bathroom habits. It rises a few hundred more every week. Dunno if that's a bug or the mayor just hates me specifically)

Initially I wasn't a fan of the artstyle but seeing it in motion like this I think it's grown on me. Really like how customizable the building aspect is. Even with half the items, I feel like there's so much more you are able to do and make. Gameplay wise very clearly early access but I see the potential.
Simsie talking about what Paralives Early Access means, saying; "there's gonna be some things that aren't finished. There might be some bugs–" Look, I'm a former Sims player, it's gonna take me a while to adjust before that no longer sounds like the default state of a game! 😂
