You're really pushing on experimental mode, there's a reason it's experimental! By the end of the year we hope to have the two modes unified for that experience you want, but for now speed convergence is hard. FYI, in experimental mode, the speed is just a max speed, setting it higher won't make the car go faster if you aren't at the max. We're also working on an eGPU to plug in to the device and give it massive Tesla FSD tier compute power. We're in the ChatGPT 3/4 phase still, where it's cute and sometimes useful. But we finally have a model training methodology that should scale with compute. It rolled out in 0.11, check out the speed convergence graph in comma's blog.
