sparks of hope is a lot of fun, there are so many cool interactions you can find out in combat with the different character and abilities, also has a nice story and funny characters and cutscenes.

I agree with your Mario + Rabbids sentiment, even if I greatly prefer the first. The first game is my favourite Mario game period, and too many people sleep on it.

I was just thinking this morning, that I need to get a copy of Tropical Freeze... I borrowed it from a friend years ago and 90% completed it, so it fell down my wish list. But it's just SO good!

Got some good stuff on there

I bought Mixtape and played through it last night. My thoughts are kind of mixed. Beautiful game. Beautiful music. However there was very little gameplay, which I found disappointing. It was more like a 4 hour long movie with a few interactive moments spread throughout. I wanted more to do. But I still enjoyed it, because I graduated high school in 1996, and it clicked some of those nostalgia buttons for me. There were moments I had a big smile on my face while playing. Sadly, I didn't find the characters or story that engaging, which made the game drag in certain places. If there were more gameplay moments, I would probably replay it. But as it is now, it's probably a once and done for me. Overall, I'd rate it a 6.5/10.
