The vertical and social media attention span is definitely not the most fun when you want to pace your story and really let it breathe. Sometimes you need to give it more than 3 seconds to enjoy it lol

You can bring more of this bro! I think the future for AI in filmmaking is real recordings + AI editing, like changing the environment, visual effects, and so on. I dont think entirely AI made films will hit the top, but sure they will be used by indie/low budget productions. Its a matter of time to some AI creator be on a great production. The hate? Well, its very commom human reaction to not like new things, fear of progress. I see this more in the west and mostly in social media. The eastern and mostly asian public seems very receptive towards AI productions, they view is if you can do a good job, doesnt matter if its AI or not. Its the delivery and final result that matters.

Good conversation so far, halfway through. It's gotta be so hard to be a pioneer in any field, and these two are obviously doing great work separately, and in this podcast they provide some insight to the fundamentals of AI filmmaking. 👍
This was real talk right here. I am also trained in fine arts, animation, film and graphic novels with over 40 years experience and see the AI tools as the latest addition to the creative arsenal. It does not stop me from doing oil paintings or any other medium. It just allows us as creators to bypass the gatekeeping. As Chris stated, those who say they hate AI are using it every day with SIRI, ALEXA, their cars, phones etc. We are in a transition period much like when digital platforms came along and artists pivoted from paper or canvas to to animate and paint. Some artists were furious when they knew a painting was done in photoshop or PAINTER and not a traditional piece... now that is mainstream. We still use the conventional but have the option to add to the process with apps and new technology. I can tell that he put a lot into the production and that it is not simply prompting. Eventually people will evolve the workflow and that is what will separate the mid productions from true visual masterpieces. Keep inspiring!
Loved this talk... I drastically reduced my consumption of short-form content; it's just too boring...And I recently started producing a full feature film using only AI... I'm loving it. It would be great to see you guys at some meetup, festival, or whatever in the future. Keep it up!
I watched it earlier this week, it was solid. I also watched Chronicles of Bone, very solid Ai content. It really shows the possibilities. Great content as usual
In the end it comes together in one question: will anybody pay to see ai- generated movies? To watch it in a cinema? Streaming services will produce their own ai content…. So what it the financial reward for it when people still hate anything made with ai ?
