Called it as soon as I saw the partner @ 2:09. Then, they gave away the game too early, when they say that they need Mercy to send a message and maintain its reputation. Pretty sure it was similar to the justification in Minority Report (lol). Everyone else was too obvious/red herrings. Thought maybe I was wrong when dude was obviously guilty, and maybe it was just that dumb, but I also know these garbage writers think they're too damn clever for their own good.
There is no way that guy that murdered the other cop was found not guilty.

So many things wrong with this. The guy plans that Chris will come back after hiding for 2 days in basement? They give a suspect 90 minutes after his BAC below Á level? So hungover, in shock due to loved ones death, dehydrated, headache but not even water given. Why not at least 24 hours later. Plus blow to head? I would say the person should get a week after they are medically cleared. With info available, support of others. Spoiler the reason exculpatory evidence destroyed was to get conviction? That so stupid. I might consider MERCY court IF we know the court finds people innocent who are not without a doubt guilty. *beyond Á reasonable doubt* ÎF everyone put on trial it’s a death sentence. It’s not justice. Good movie just unrealistic motives. Timing that only happens in movies.
