I'd like to think that Kane Pixels will include the most insane twists imaginable, so much that everyone's theories will end up being dead in the water.
I was kinda hoping that when I went to the comments Kane Pixels just commented “no.”
I’m just hoping that Kane focuses more on the liminal elements of the Backrooms for the movie instead of the SCP-esc/monster aspects the internet added in later on
I absolutely love the mindset of "Oh wow, our theory was wrong. I'm so excited by this! That means I get to start over again!" This is the mentality all fans should have when their headcanon is proven wrong.
Personally, I think the monster doesn't just wonder the backrooms, it is the entity manifesting them. When it kills people, it doesn't seem to eat them like an animal looking for food. I think when it catches people it feeds on their memories of the real world. That's why we often see the places people would remember well, bedrooms, living rooms, and office rooms.
Who came back here after the backrooms trailer?
What if the Backrooms aren't an entity of its own, but a complex network of memories, and ideas of multiple people. A Mandela Effect made real. Memories overlapping, creating something alien to all, because every individual is remembering something differently.
im so glad you guys finally admitted the simulation theory is wrong 😭
Stephen King, Room 1408. It is its own self-contained backroom before the concept was on the internet. Got adapted to film too, pretty darn good.
As a chronically off-line child, it was terrifying to hear other kids talk about the back rooms as if they were real

Aaaaand we're right back to *House of Leaves.* Just waiting for our protagonist to become paranoid, barricade himself in his apartment and obsessively measure the distances between the walls to make sure it hasn't been changing... I highly recommend that book if you're into stuff like the backrooms.
One thing I want to add: Kane pixels has been interested into creating music in the liminal genre, many of which are inspired by the Caretaker, specifically the album called “Everywhere at the end of time” which is a 6 hour album trying to resemble and potentially simulate the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. Since Kane pixels made music inspired by it, it’s more than likely he could of taken the idea of dementia into the movie, which is what you mentioned!
15:15 this particular study is new but the idea that the gut biome affects the brain and can even be the cause of Alzheimer's is a few years old at this point
