The story of Radha appears in Puranas much later i.e around 15th century. No text related to Shri Krishna mentions Radha. Mahabharat, HariVansh Puran or Bhagvat Puran - there's no mention of Radha. Which hints towards a medieval era interpolation.
If somebody else has also watched this, then re-watch Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna to reboot your system and wait for Mahavatar Gokulnandan where Ashwin Ji will show how Bal Leela's of bhagvan should be shown in an appropriate way!!
I don't know which version of the Mahabharata people are reading. These 'WhatsApp University' graduates are the ones claiming Karna was superior to Arjuna or that Krishna was deceitful. Anyway... The fact that Lord Krishna done vrat of Brahmacharya for 12 years in the Himalayas after his marriage is something 99% of people probably don't know. People have never understood the difference between love and lust, yet they speak authoritatively about Krishna. It is truly a great tragedy.
Indian serials on mythology/history treat it as fanfiction. Jo man me aye kuch bhi batate hai, Star plus ki mahabharat and Radhakrishn serial sab se bade example hai. Maa rukmini ko maa laxmi ka avatar bataya gaya hai, lekin radha-krishna ki "love story" k fans to unhe esa dikhate hai jaise wo radha krishna ji k beech me aye. Honestly, radha krishna k mandir pehle hote hi nahi the, pehle krishna ji k sath rukmani ji and satyabhama ji hote the, jaise laxmanji aur seeta maa shree Ram k sath hote hai. Muje dikkat nahi hai agar radha ji aur shri krishna ko sath me pujte ho, but krishna ji jeevan me hua that, jo unhone sandesh diya, us se chedchad nahi karni chahiye
After seeing the poster in X I couldn't even dare to see the trailer. Kudos to you, you could watch the movie, the torture you go thru for your work really baffles me .
Sayad main akela hi aisa tha jo apne channel me is trailer ko criticise Kiya tha. Sastro se bilkul bhi koi sampark nahi film ka.
In south india , we worship lord Krishna known as Govindan/Balaji/Perumal/Krishnan/Gopalan and many other names along with Sridevi (Rukmini Ma) and Bhoodevi (Sathyabhama Ma) , we don't have any idol of Radha ji in Vaishnav temples of South India or any reference about Radha ji in Vaishnav literature (In Tamil Thiruppavai,Naalayira Divya prabandham and many other Vaishnav literature works we only have mention about Sridevi (Lakshmi devi) and Bhoodevi (Boomadevi as mentioned in Varaha avatar)as consorts of lord Krishna ...We have Krishna ji with Sridevi and Bhoodevi in moolasthaanam...In Tamilnadu We worship Andal/Kothai who was one of the 12 Vaishnavite Alwars..She is also credited as an avatar of Lakshmi/Sridevi ma....She is seen as an embodiment of pure love here in TN similar to Radha ji...

Personally, I wouldn’t even know such films existed, and even if I watched them, I’d probably get frustrated by the senseless conversations, dialogues, and analogies that are often just products of the directors’ and writers’ own utopian imagination. I can confidently say that many of them haven’t genuinely studied or deeply explored our sacred and ancient texts themselves, nor understood the true meaning and essence behind them before presenting such interpretations on screen. Alwys admired and grateful to you and your work as it changed my perspectivisim a lot towards life and everything 💗🙏🏻
I have been frustrated by the constant PR campaign of this movie popping up in my feed. I mean no matter what their intent was behind this movie, I am tired of watching the countless Mythological serials who shit all over our scriptures. And if they are going to put the same trash on the movie screens.....NAHHHHHHHHH
The vedas were passed down orally..... I understood finally why this is...... people were brainwashed to think written texts are supreme. They can be manipulated... now even texts are gone... it is all films and tv serials which are even more prone to manipulation........ we went from a superior method to worse methods over time....
