People only look into it when it's a big game, Bernardo has been doing that (becoming the centre back to start play) all season. This is why I talk about narrative, this is not something that only happened this match
Bernardo Silva is Top 15 midfielder in prem History.
Pep is GOATED!!! Bernado is TOP!!!!
If Donnarumma hadn't made his mistake, City would have been more confident in the first half and I think it would have been 3-0 to City.
Hands down , these 2 do the best analysis.
The most underrated aspect of Bernardo is sadly not shown on TV. Around minute 10 or so, Bernardo went up to Khusanov and calmed him down after a nervy few minutes. He has been brilliant the whole season, City will miss his leadership a lot. Curious to see how they cope without the big heads next season as almost everyone of the dominant era under Pep will be gone by then except Dias & to some extent Haaland.
Been waiting on your analysis all day ❤
I want to see one of these sessions, coaching pressing. When Dino explains, it all makes sense!
Love this segment !! As an arsenal fan i was so upset but after seeing how brilliant the city lot are even tactically, im more calm. Fine margins that separate the 'haalands' from the 'havertz' are really what gave city the edge. We really should recruit better in some areas this summer. But with silva and possibly rodri n pep leaving it may be the end of an era for city n a chance for arsenal to step up a level
Arsenal will bottle this
115 shade
..should have sent Gabriel off..Rodri was right..PGMOL don't want city to win..
A fascinating insight. It will be very interesting now to look at the video of the entire match and be able to figure out how these tactical plans were executed.
Yeah your headlines are legit!! Very informative stuff 🎉🎉 great show
Chess press. What a load of cobblers. Just dribble round everyone like Pele did using the oranges in Trinidad.
It boiled down to a few minutes and the tight margins...Martinelli gambles with the high press wins the ball plays Havertz through and going 2-1 up its a different game...If Havertz smashes it with height he scores...Minute later the cross comes in Saliba misses it if he gets a flick Haaland doesn't get his shot off...Tight margins but City got the home luck ⚽️
Bernardo "The GHOST"
Love you Deano 💜
Bernardo Silva; top 3 rats of all time. Also probably top 3 orchestrators of all time.
Bernardo will be a top coach one day if that is what he chooses to do. He knows exactly what a team needs in every moment. Pep doesn't need to tell him what to do.
