Olise would definitely not be the same if he played for Arsenal
While everyone enjoys entertaining and attacking football, it is absolutely vital to maintain dramatically different/competing football philosophies. It is good for the sport!
The diference between this two games is that one you remeber it the other you slept on
olise would be different in arsenal due to how arteta would use him
The push and pull in football between different styles is what makes it fun. I loved Mourinho's destructive defensive take on Barcelona's tiki-taka. There was beauty in that much defensive work ethic against an unbeatable technical side. Those matches where styles clash hard are a lot of fun to watch as well. It's important for the sport. When one style starts to dominate new ones appear to counter.
Most managers don't want to admit that chaos leads to goals more often than systems, reason being that chaos is unquantifiable and difficult to plan ahead. PSG and Bayern both let players introduce chaos and scored beautifully.
Arteta tactics would have stiffled his attacking side
old days teams used to have one # 10 players in team who dectate how the team is playing. Football has lost that number #10. until Vencent Kampnay brought it back, however, not only one #10. it seems he has more than one #10 player.
Bayern vs PSG is the battle between a bunch of elite dribblers ATM vs Arsenal is the battle between two coaches and their buses The pinnacle of modern football
Diaz had to do so many kick offs it showed in his heat map lol
When Arsenal became a title contender back in 2023, their possession game was much more fluid and relied a lot on take ons from both Saka and Martinelli, and on overlaps and support runs by the full backs and midfielders. But Arteta's mentality and approach of the game have switched last year for some reason, which I honestly ignore til today.
Arteta trembled in fear during the ATM match He was witnessing true Haram Ball 😂
I loved the video. I think it’s important to mention that in one game there was man-marking all over the pitch, while in the other there was zonal marking in the defensive phases. In zonal systems, it’s usually harder for attackers to face pure 1v1 situations because defenders tend to have more cover. In the PSG vs Bayern game, the wingers were receiving the ball at speed and attacking the full-back directly. In contrast, in Atletico Madrid vs Arsenal, the wingers received the ball with less space, making it harder to take on the defender. Very good analysis 😊
Luis Díaz didn’t become “better” at Bayern. He has the freedom now to use his abilities to his full potential. At Liverpool he would back pass a lot more than he does now and wouldn’t take as many risks
Olise, Doue, Diaz and Kvara all have the real confidence where they just know they'll beat their man 1v1. In case they fail, they will try again. Arsenal's wingers just seem way too hesitant. So often they get the ball, face up their defender, and then just pass it backwards. I genuinely can't believe Arteta would actually be telling them to do that, but sometimes it really looks like it. They need to take more risks and just back themselves. How else you are going to create chances?
PSG vs Bayern Munich 2026 semifinal is probably the best UCL game ever
PSG and Bayern could definitely win the prem with their elite squads. But I highly doubt they could do it playing this style of football. For one thing, the reason they are happy to play basketball in Europe is because half of their prospective league games are a walk over. They get far more rest and rotation and therefore much fresher come the business end. No one can tell me they think Harry Kane would be scoring this amount of goals in the Prem or stay injury free. Not one PSG attacker is among the top 1000 players to have clocked the most minutes in Europe’s top 5 leagues (as of this week) Let that sink in. Who thinks a team winning the Prem could pull this off.

You are absolutely Correct Man... Ollise wouldn't be the Same Player if he was in Arsenal
it depends on the coach if he will be willing to give him the freedom to express himself in those situations as company does. so he wont be the same olise as arteta desires less risk and wants controll
