I have a neighbor, the rich neighbor in our neighborhood, every holiday or school break they have people over, blasting music till early in the morning. I have insomnia and it's so hard to sleep because the vibrations are so annoying.

As a Council clean up crew ,i once had to help collect the remains of a poor guy who jumped from his high rise flat ,he was surrounded by neighbours who played music etc all night , the Council had no anti social restraint measures at that time .

He wouldnt have made it out the room let alone the house especially with zero blood

This is why I live in the country and own the land surrounding my home. I did the city thing for 15 years and if I hadn't left then I'd be locked up by now. The final straw was after asking the lads next door at 2am ( 15 apprentice builders sharing 4 bedroom house attached to mine ) to turn down the music a bit on night 3 of their cup final celebrations because they were keeping the whole street up on a weeknight ( the rest of the street either had young families or pensioners ). I ( 35 yr old builder ) was firm calm and polite and the 2 guys who answered the door reasonable and apologetic and turned it down. As I turned to leave the music was rammed up and the door bust open as 5 drunk and extremely aggressive 18 yr olds come spilling out shouting threats and insults at me I turned around and the closest one to me had a large kitchen knife in his hand. Reacting instinctively I grabbed his wrist and broke his nose with my elbow to secure the knife and threw it over their roof. As several more of them emerged and started surrounding me I stepped over the wall into my own garden ( under my cameras and lights ) and tried to de-escalate by saying I don't want this getting worse for any of us I just defended myself when he pulled a blade and lets just wait for the cops to come and let them sort it out. Next thing I knew I was on my back getting punched stomped and kicked from every angle so I curled up with my back to my car and covering my head with my arms. I felt my ribs breaking from the stomping and figured I wasn't going to make it. Then my wife let our dog's out and everything changed.....the angry shouts became screams of pain and fear as my GSD rushed in on the ones kicking me and the Rothie drove the rest back. Despite the entire neighbourhood coming forward to make statements in my defence and CCTV footage of the incident I was brought to court and charged with assault using deadly weapons ( my dogs ) and only for the fact that my dogs had " disappeared" the next morning they would have been seized and murdered for doing their job on their own property because they were not licensed guards dogs just as pets. I beat the charges but had enough and moved to the country side. I did hear that a couple of weeks after my case was done a bunch of vigilantes showed up at their house and wrecked the house the people inside and their cars in the street

i had an obnoxious neighbor like this that'd get homr drunk at 3am and immedately start blasting sounds, i brought a cheap crappy second hand amp and some barely function 15 inch subs, and woke up early to point all my speakers at their house and play fps games all morning on my first day off... i never talked to them but they got the message.

I hate my neigboor who play music that loud too so i understand. Calling the police do nothing, other neighbour don't want trouble, the council don't care because it's only me despite the fact that we all sign a rule who said "respect the tranquility of other neighbour" Sadly i didn't find a jackie label on their clothes to resolve the problem (and obviously didn't enter into my neighbour property ) But maybe one day, when i won't be able to bear with the noise, he will meet his creator and i will meet prison without passing by go or collecting my 200$. PS: i already use a noise cancelling headphone like her, this short sound close to home really.

the best way to get back at these neighbours is when they are sleeping, blast the sound and see how they like it when they are trying to sleep after all the "fun" they had.
