This is the best series on YouTube rn, hands down.
The thing with Bojack Horseman is that all five of the leads fall into a similar box as Mr. Peanutbutter. They are all nuanced, deeply flawed people that have some endearing qualities (with some being more prevalent than others). Once you’ve interacted with someone that shares one of the numerous quirks/patterns of the leads, you see them in a whole other light, and the show makes it extremely easy to project onto those characters and assess things in your own life through their habits. The show is therapeutic in that way, reflecting both our own flaws and virtues, as well as those of our loved ones and to a lesser extent “extras” in our lives.
