Guys really, we’ve been asking for you to mic players for years.
How about we HEAR THE PLAYERS.
You need to mic the players. Communication between players literally *is* the game. Without it, we simply do not know what is happening and relying on the commentators to tell us just isn't working.
Since the announcement I was looking forward to this first 11th edition game. You are kidding me? 99% commentators talking? I am forced to skip it. Please understand a very rudimentary basic concept: -> In order to observe the first 11th edition rules being played, people need to understand what the players are doing. This is done by hearing them, talking about what they will do. GW is going the following path: 1. Ignoring all the comments. 2. GW quoting the amount of views, then take the percentage amount of those who commented and names the streaming an utter success. This is way too stupid.
Commentary is putting years on me, mic the players next time!
Man dude i tried this is a dry watch
Stream starts at 19:20
I hope that the next streaming won't be as awful and bad as this one
You’d think some more effort would go into making this video
While the board and models look great this is really hard to watch. The key to this game is interaction between the players. It’s what gives me all the enjoyment in the game. I know GW never mics players but please consider doing it. Particularly in this fully controlled environment. I would make this far better to watch.
They couldn't afford to give the players microphones, huh? Thank goodness they gave some old X-BOX 360 mics to the three attendants in the peanut gallery. What's the point of guest starring Play on Tabletop if you're just gonna have Larry, Curly, and Moe give their commentary over the whole thing?
Just over 3 hours for a game, that didn't include terrain setup or deployment. So embarrassing
Nice "Blood Angels" army. Half blue and not a single Blood Angel datasheet.
Players could have been coached on presenting and playing the game. Especially for the playontabletop game, they should have been allowed to do their own format and production. I get that 40k is a competitive game but this whole thing feels like such a fumble.
Can you do a proper stream next time
You guys need to calm down, this is the billion dollar companies first time streaming
“You always put Ghaz with meganobs” Eddie please just stop talking nonsense
MIC THE PLAYERS!!!!!
