I don't think anyone wants to see the wr broken more than Bolt, but he knows better than anyone else that it needs to be earned.
They simply didn't attract the current elite runners to participate. This was a bunch of previous high performers, some who largely came out of mothballs for the payday - but not the story of what the very fastest runners on the planet could do if they were 'enhanced' using PEDs.
It's also important to know that over 90% of the athletes there were only on PEDs for 2months. And given that the Olympic gold winner only wins about $37K, we should see faster times next year because faster athletes will join. Side note $37K for gold is wild.
