Traded an out to prevent a run. Most pitchers would had taken the easy double play to get 2 outs. The results favored Shohei because he got a double play afterward to end the inning.

Love how you can see the Japanese training in the way he fields. There isn’t the awkwardness you normally see from pitchers getting the ball hit to them
