The amazing people at Klausen cars allowed me to drive this exquisite GTR Longtail. For looks, noise, rarity and the way it drives, not much comes close.

That last 10 seconds is why I love this man. Why I love his content and value his opinion. Took me straight back to the last time a tear dropped in a drivers seat.

I took my dad to Bicester Heritage, the great british jaguar day and pushed his wheelchair to the middle of the stage view, and I stood watching Chris chew the automotive cud in boiling hot weather surrounded by the most amazing jaguars- My dad's 90 and frail now and i know we won't have him much longer- thank you Chris - great day- great chat and magical memories that my dad and I will take with us as one of our best days....

Probably the greatest man to ever portray the “feeling” of cars so well. Always an honor to get your thoughts on so many truly special vehicles delivered by a truly special person. Thank you Chris!

Chris. It hasnt been the easist few years for me either, but once I jump into my old 1991 944 S2 race car and tussle with my mates on track, I feel like the luckist man alive too. Thanks mate. I could have easily watched you drive that car for another 80 minutes.

Damn, Chris getting emotional at the end like that made me sad. It definitely has been a rough few years, especially with the sudden end of Top Gear, but thanks for everything you do for cars, automotive journalism, & all the content you share. As a fellow car enthusiast, I am grateful for all you do! Thank you, Chris. You are special.

Brave, leaving that last bit in. Well done. As ever, you wear your heart on your sleeve. As for the review: “A legend in a legendary car”. And of course, thanks to that Swiss collector.

I don’t care what they say. A battery car will never, ever in a million years make a grown man feel these kind of emotions… I got goose bumps just from watching this… Thanks Chris, you absolute beast, and also - thanks to the owner….😢❤
