Sigma fp, Laowa. Tele converter. Swebo. Leofoto. inkee. neewer. Moza. Rode. samsung π₯ This is NOT standard lab microscopy or still photography. This is real, untamed micro-life, wild flora, and textures captured alive and in motion in their natural habitat at a staggering 15x magnification! To push past the limits of video, I modified the native Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5x Ultra Macro lens up to 15x ultra-macro using Sigma 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters. Shot in crisp, raw CinemaDNG video on the Sigma fp mirrorless camera for maximum dynamic range and cinematic color.Filming live video at this insane scale required flawless precision in the field. I achieved this with a dual-axis Swebo macro rail setup (cross-rail rig), locked down on a heavy-duty Leofoto tripod with a 55mm ball head for micro-height adjustments. Massive video lighting was delivered by the INKEE 150 and Neewer ML01 to reveal every moving detail in the shadows. Experience incredible cinematic scenes of the micro-world:π¦ Active Bdelloid Rotifers walking like micro-caterpillars (0.18 mm)π» A Tardigrade (Water Bear) hiding and moving inside a moss bud (0.3 mm)π¦ A cute Sminthurius elegans (globular springtail) crunching on a leaf (1.1 mm)π·οΈ Transparent Mite larvae exploring the edges of moss leaves (0.7 mm)πΈ Otherworldly pine pollen grains with floating air sacs (0.05 mm)π Interplanetary-looking golden moss spore capsules (operculum & sporangium)π¨ Mysterious turquoise structures and fine wood grain textures.π Which moving creature or structure surprised you the most? Watch 0:25 β do you see a tardigrade? And at 0:44 β is that a tardigrade too?
Could there be three organisms, not two, inside this moss bud at 1:08? One is eating the second, while the third is using it as live bait to catch the first.

Did you spot the micro-drama on the light-through shot? Is it a predatory tardigrade or a hunting rotifer devouring its prey? Drop your guesses below! ππ¬
