The US is a huge place, does your movie theater offer anything different from ours? When we had movie theater food in Hawaii, we got green beans. In Japan, we got a white chocolate churro. I only get to go to the movies once every couple years, but usually I get popcorn, pocky, and a soda. Maybe a soft pretzel if they have any. There was one time when my family all shared a plate of nachos and a small pizza. I eat kind of slow so there's always at least popcorn to take home, which is nice. Movies are fun.

We have a range in the US, some small/locally owned theaters still exist and it’s just popcorn and candy. AMC is pretty standard, most theaters have a bar now but the food is still what you saw here, pizza, nachos, and popcorn. Then there are full service theaters that have a full menu where you order a meal at the beginning, and it’s served in the first 15 minutes of the showing. Cinebistro is my favorite, they have a great salmon entree.
Cheese-flavored or buttered popcorn is always a good idea for me. 🥰
