This reminds me, I'm an artist who also happened to grow up around horses/herd animals, and the number of different incorrect ways I have seen other, not horse-experienced, artists draw how they think horses drink water has been both astonishing and hilarious. The most common way I've seen is for horses to be drawn drinking like a dog, and honestly, it's the most vaguely disturbing one as well.
