Mad respect for Mark and Jonathon for being gamers who are also developers and not corpos who sell games.
I really like that mark said they want the end game to feel like a continuation of the campain and i really really like that idea.
The interludes being changed because Jonathan was using a Quin ZDPS build is pretty funny.
One thing I genuinely really appreciate is how humble the GGG team is. They're their own biggest critics and constantly look to raise the bar and refuse to get comfortable. That's why this game will be such a masterpiece. It's a process, but the base product is incredible and the internal culture is second to none.
"endless amount of bullshit spewing from this rare" lmao so relatable
Jonathan sippin on wine at 9am is a vibe
I appreciate that Jonathan is playing some average builds, and that they’re figuring out what is making the silent majority much slower than the vocal minority. Simple things like bad vs good suggested support gems makes a HUGE difference
I mean if John had a bad experience with his build when allocating defense nodes, Imagine how bad a player that doesn't have a 30 years of isometric action rpg experience would feel and play like.
Amazing interview, enjoyed watching it from start to end! Jonathan and Mark are so fun to listen to, they did a great job. So much good information in this interview:)
You two did a fucking amazing job with this interview. Thank you for providing the community with all this information, the waiting room stallathon has been rough but this was great. It felt really good to watch live. I do not feel this way about most other peoples GGG podcasts. So again, Thank you from a long time supporter/viewer.
Love to see Jonathan genuinely happy to give an interview. Had a break from PoE2 since 0.2 and the vibe in this interview being so positive compated to before got me excited to play the game again once more.
As a relatively new player in this community. It is genuinely heart warming that the devs not only state they watch the content and draw feedback from it. But also name the actuall content creator they took the feedback from. <3
"If it's not my character, than what do I have to change as a person" - had me rollin
Fuck its funny listening to Johnathan talk about how monsters just spew shit everywhere and there is no way to do anything about it but tank it lol 😂😂😂
Honestly one of the best interviews, apparently just give them some wine and let them stay home for the talks haha :)
For a split second i really thought Mark was sitting next to a Microwave 😂
Tune in LIVE as we will FINALLY be theorycrafting new builds! /ghazzytv
I just love how Ghazzy and DM sometimes really don't have to ask a question in forever while Jonathan and Mark just keep yapping on and on...and not with some marketing bullshitbingo speak, but actually meaningful explanations 🥰
Amazing interview! I like this "laid back" format where the devs are allowed to curse and can take their filter off a little bit and have even more of their passion shine through.
Recent interviews make me appreciate Jonathan way more.
