The difference nobody talks about too is that boxing in MMA is different from boxing. You can’t be as planted and throw bombs because you’ll get taken down. This is true for every individual martial art in MMA, some of the skills transfer, but a lot don’t

A lot of boxing heavyweights outside the top 7 or 8 are pretty shit I mean we just seen usyk go life and death with Rico, Francis lost but came extremely close to beating fury without ever even having a boxing match, the skill difference in combat sports between boxers and mma fighters is massive
