This is an awesome way to avoid the rain but i still think a car is faster

We can ride in the rain just fine, even with knee deep rivers flowing through the streets. Wet clothes won't harm you. You just need to avoid abrupt braking and counterleaning. Lean your body instead of the bike and you can ride through anything with minimal hydroplaning risk. Slow down and take advantage of as much contact patch as you can. A canopee sounds awesome for long trips but seems extremely dangerous in city driving. You'll be blind every time you come to a stop in heavy rain. There are of course workarounds not involving wipers, but they need proper aerodynamics. Downforce is fine, but anything causing liftoff can be fatal. If you manage to make a canopee that doesn't let water pour in front of you, you might be onto something good, even for the most rainy days.

Why you not ride a car?

Interesting concept but it kills the feeling of ride a bike. If someone’s afraid of being wet, why don’t drive a car? In rain, wipers needed outside and air ventillation inside to have a clear sight. Otherwise the rider is -however dry- blind. Due to the extra weight of that canopy on the top the ride will easily be out of balance.
