It always blows my mind that a car costing the best part of $150K meant for 4WD and rough touring needs to have so much more spent on it in order to make it "more capable" or stronger or more reliable. Someone is taking the piss in a big way, I'm just not sure if it's Toyota, the after market sellers or both. If that brand new 300 series cannot do what it is expected of it then it's not built for purpose. I do feel like people need to keep their brains well engaged when watching these new car rebuilds or risk getting sucked into an expensive trap (unless they're happy pandering to their own egos). This is no reflection on Tyler and Burto, I have been enjoying their videos for a long time and am sure that I will continue to do so.
