I worked at a large bank for 5 weeks. Quit to work for another data company because of how bad the banks software was. Didn't want my name near any of it because it was riddled with exploitable vulnerabilities, and when I pointed them out I was told to put in a ticket and someone would get to it and 6-8 months. Fintech companies from what I understand are implementing old-fashioned machine learning mechanism, maybe containing a latent space layer, but most aren't even that far yet. Let alone approaching near an autonomous system, let alone being autonomous enough to qualify as "AI".
