At this point, given Sony's (mis)management, I'm expecting that the "inFamous thing" is going to end in a few months with a report that they made one of their best in-house studios waste 7 years working on an inFamous-themed extraction shooter for Android and iOS, then cancelled it and shuttered that studio.
Based on Sony's track record, I wouldn't be surprised if they turn Infamous into a live service game.

Capcoms announcement years ago about bringing back older franchises, and currently succeeding in these revivals should have been all the proof that sony, Microsoft and even Nintendo needed to start looking at dormant old franchises

Whenever I hear an InFamous rumour, I always think of that "Don't give me hope" meme.
I saw the GameStop sale yesterday at the store. I got excited, then realized I already owned every game of sale that I would actually play.
If "Vicarious Visions" was still around, I would've LOVED a *"Sly Cooper Trilogy Remake"* done in the same way as "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Remake".
A long shot, but with the resurgence of horror games popularity over the last few years, I really hope ‘Siren’ makes a return and they could even bring back Toyama to direct and write for a brand new game. Even though it is a mix between Fatal Frame and Silent Hill, Bloober Team has shown with Cronos that despite borrowing heavily from other games like Resident Evjl, a horror game can be unique enough that makes it different and fun. Also, Siren may be a niche IP compared to a Sly Cooper or SOCOM, but it was impactful enough that it was featured in Astro Bot, so on a positive note, it isn’t a completely forgotten IP.

Still awaiting an "Advent Rising" remake. Hidden Gem of a game, aliens invade, your human character gets psychic powers throughout.
