You've reached the end
I specifically had a moment in my twenties that stopped me in my tracks and made me choose who I wanted to be rather than letting trauma and abuse form me into someone I didn't even recognize. I had verbally lashed out at a friend and I understood where it came from but the look of genuine hurt in her face crushed me. She absolutely hadn't meant me any harm. And I decided to be someone rather than reacting all the time. I chose to be someone that doesn't hurt people because I'm hurting. Even if someone is treating me poorly or if I don't particularly like them. The way I treat people says more about me than it does them. So what if they're rude or racist? They chose to be that way. I'm choosing differently. I'm choosing patience and kindness and empathy. And unlike some folks - I'm not going to say that it's free. Being kind can be tiring. And that's why people choose hate. It's easy to simply react to the most powerful emotion in your arsenal. But I learned that just because an emotion is trying doesn't mean it's a took you should use to develop your character. I am still scared and angry all the time. I still mistrust people. I still have triggers. But I'm finding out how to manage them so that I treat people the way I've always wanted to be treated. I've had a lot of bad examples of what not to do to others. I'd like to be a good example for even one person. So that maybe no one has to watch their friends heartbreak in front of them because of a knee jerk reaction you had to something innocent they said.

So happy I found your videos - each one reminds us to be positive, thank you, stay with us.
I am confuse at the moment, I want someone I can talk to about life, struggles. I feel like I'm gonna lose 😢
For me, it’s often hard to tell the difference between setting healthy boundaries and 'overreacting.' I think a lot of the time, what people feel isn't actually 'hate.' And sometimes, it’s necessary not to just brush off attacks against you as a 'learning experience'—or to simply say, 'No, this is mine, and I’m not sharing.' You know what I mean? I really enjoy this mindset of yours and I try to live in peace, with healthy boundaries and forgiveness
Could you wrap me up in a blanket and feed me soup
