Sometimes a player's skillset is more important than being elite.The thing that moved Arsenal from a 5th place 69pts team to 2nd place 84pts+ team was the Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko signings: Jesus got us pressing at a new intensity and scoring goals from turnovers high up, and Zinchenko introduced the inverted fullback system, gave us numeric overload in midfield and gave us key pass threat from multiple areas. The leap in attacking threat was exponential despite their talent levels.

Chelsea will be outsiders. But probably pushing for a Champions League spot. Julian Alvarez is still a question mark for me. He was rested from league play and looked amazing in the champions league.

We went from 5 points deficit in a season to a 2-point deficit in the following season. And this season, we created a deficit and won the league by going 2 points ahead. The closer you get, the harder it tends to be, basically. So, it had taken three attempts when going head-to-head with City in total to convert a 5-point gap to lead with a 2-point gap to win the title. Totalling 7 points. It was not easy. I do not think United will be as close as 15 points to us. In fact, I personally think United will dip because we have seen progression during a season with United, but like always, for some reason, they have seemed to take a dip. It happened under all the previous managers. Unless something changes, I could be wrong, but only after the first 15 games will we know what happens.

Barcola doesn't really excite me. I think Liverpool trying to sign Diomande is a better target. Barcola still needs to work on his end product, but he probably is a technical upgrade on Martinelli. I still think if Trossard leaves, he'll be a harder player to replace. Trossard is a highly intelligent player, who knows how to create space for a pass, cross or shot. He knows when to hold up the ball to create plays with runs in the box.
