Kobe, Iverson, Steve Nash, Ray Allen, Ilgauskas, Antoine Walker, Jermaine O'Neal, Peja Stojakovic, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Stephon Marbury, were all drafted in the 1996 draft and Ben Wallace went undrafted in that draft. ALL of these guys made at least one All Star team. Five made the Hall of Fame! One of the best drafts ever.

That’s very humble of AI to say if he was the 76ers he would’ve picked Kobe but at that point nobody knew what Kobe was gonna be. Everybody knew what AI was but RIP to Kobe his daughter and everybody involved in that.

Kobe wasn’t the top High school player when he graduated. It took years- and lots of help- for Kobe to pass AI. If he plays in the Sixers organization, he doesn’t reach those heights. Larry Brown would make sure of that.
