I have been sent the new XGIMI TITAN Noir Max home cinema projector because I have the kind of room layout other projectors can't accommodate. https://xgimi-titan-noir-series-4k-projector.kckb.me/15e55e44 (Kickstarter Campaign Page AFFILIATED LINK*) *AFFILIATED LINKS/ADVERTISING NOTICE When you click on links posted here and make a purchase, this will result in me earning a commission. Great Video 😊 Im very happy that you finally found a projector that meets your needs.. That's Awesome..
I laughed out loud when u said "a chump on YouTube who got a free one"😂....I'm really glad u finally got one that is perfect for u Techmoan...u deserve it dude🤙
From what I've seen here, I'm impressed. I know how you review things over many years, and this is exciting stuff - and I'm not even in the market for one. This was a fun video to watch.
Motion smoothing := Satan's tin fiddle
Did I actually see Matt get excited, in a happy way, about a projector? I'm glad for him, it's been a while in happening.
No wonder you look so happy! I've rarely seen such a perfect match between a man and a machine. Great vid as always! Also, I have to say this—and I'm sure you're tired of hearing it—but I'm so glad you look and sound much more like your younger self. It's wonderful to see that horrid health situation is well behind you now.
Love to see the follow up when the new screen comes, looks a well manufactured device.😊
22:20 the colored bars are from the rainbow effect flicker, you can see the actuall colors if you take a slomo video using a samsung phone for example. them moving up the screen is an effect of the framerate
The only person who gets stuff for free, correctly flags the includes paid promotion and yet still is truly honest and I know I can 100% trust. If its shit, we know he'll say its shit, even if given for free. That what we all love.
I am using an older Acer traditional home cinema DLP lamp projector with optical zoom and horizontal and vertical lens shift for over 10 years now. I think it is great to see that you are explaining lens shift and optical zoom, because most very cheap projectors don't have these features and most reviewers are never telling that projectors with digital zoom and digital keystone correction are not really good to show images correctly. I will never go back to projectors without lens shift.
I love that even after 15 years you still preface with "I am not the spec guy, I'll just tell you if I like it, or if I don't"
15:29 That's Shinjuku in Tokyo! The twin tower building lit up in blue is the Tokyo City Hall. You spot the plattform roofs of the outdoors Shinjuku Station. The video camera is aiming westwards.
I think what I like about this setup is that it just seems like a pleasant space to be not just "the ultimate movie experience" (that seems like the video version of the whole audiophile thing) and this projector works with just the "normal room" feeling that your studio/office has. It just seems like a great place to spend time in!
"Unless they want this one back..." I'm willing to bet you're safe. Meanwhile, Champagne glasses clink in a distant manufacturer's headquarters...
Techmoan is my favourite "Stupid Baldy"
This was such a joy to watch! I don't even need a projector myself, but I could really feel your excitement about finding one that perfectly fits your setup. I always wondered what that tower with the white cloth in your older videos was—I had no idea it was your projector! This new setup is so much more ideal and streamlined. Great video, and I'm really glad you have a better workflow now!
good to hear you found your perfect projector !!
26:30 "...unless they ask for this one back" I would have thought that was something that would have been understood, one way other the other, before an item for review was sent out.
love to see an old favorite youtuber (been following for 10 years i think), doing a review on a product im following closely. and Techmoan manages to show a perspective that is so valueble, its not an indepth with measurements, but it just shows how a normal user can use it and what to expect. you can be proud of this review mister Moan!
That plastic peel music always gives a chuckle
