8:44. No it cannot reach out to other AI tools via MCP. There is no MCP for Gemini to connect to Claude.

AI is truly revolutionary but the subscription models today are not profit making. Companies will adopt AI, get rid of staff, and then find their AI subscription rates start to climb. They are then held over a barrel, find a cheaper AI provider or install their own data centre, or maybe a shared data centre? AI will be competing on price. Those with high debt and high running costs will go belly up. It will all come down to cost per compute minute.

As a retired enterprise architect and tech exec who has been obsessed with this techno-cultural explosion since late 22, I can't agree with your perspectives and guidance more. For almost three years I've been preaching many of these themes to my family, friends and clients, most of which had little interest for the first two and a half years. And just like the famous (ok, in a fairly small domain) French Lily pad story, people are now overwhelmed, and those just jumping on board don't realize how far behind they are. However, they also have in their disposal the most powerful learning environment ever created. So in this case, effort can really make a difference. As always... in deep appreciation of you sharing your content and probably more importantly, your wisdom.
