I picked up a pair of its sibling product, the XReal Ones, about a year ago now. I ended up returning them. It is a very cool concept executed pretty well, but agree with Ali that it is generally a compromise compared to “real” displays and doesn’t make sense for travel productivity — only travel gaming. I don’t travel so much that a display I would only use for gaming while traveling would be worth it financially for me. Definitely very cool tech though, and I can imagine myself revisiting if my lifestyle ever changed and/or the tech progressed to the point that it would be high enough clarity for productivity.

I owned a pair of XReal 1S glasses which are incredibly similar. Personally, don't think they're actually useful in the real world. Really cool tech though and excited to see proper the upcoming Android XR collab with XReal.

I've been looking into AR glasses recently. Funny to see this pop up.
Having moved to a 15sqm studio, it sounds like the perfect solution to me. I have both a gaming laptop (zephyrus g15 2021) and a 10l pc but gave my monitors away as I don't have much space. I've been mostly playing on my laptop monitor, my drawing tablet monitor or occasionally my vr headset but nothing beats a proper full size monitor. Those new xreal glasses look perfect for my needs though I'm nit sure they're worth double the price of the xreal s1. Either way, I will probably grab one.
Your aesthetic is so clean and minimalist, the best way to recover from over edited videos the 5080 shining through the mesh is so cool
As a owner of the One pros, I do feel like the 1080p resolution, while sufficient, can be better. Before I even think about upgrading my AR glasses, I'd need to see a resolution boost + maybe even VRR instead of 240hz if they can pull that off

I have the Xreal one pros and honestly I dont think the 240hz upgrade over the 120 is worth the $200. If anyone is thinking about getting these I would highly recommend just getting the Xreal one Pros Also am I tripping or does optimum look like he got some work done?
