The Ugarte comparisons are simply ignorant. He has a higher defensive work rate, defensive awareness, tackler and shields the ball significantly better than Ugarte. His passing is fairly underrated too. Our midfield lacks energy and a high defensive work rate. Ederson gives us that. Is it a flashy signing? No.
