Hopefully this one is beyond any referee/tmo/tv director moaning. Total domination by Bordeaux, stepping off the gas in the second half made it look a little less one-sided. By a countrymile the best club in Europe today.
Any time James Ryan gets taught a rugby lesson it's a good day
Love seeing Leinster get a kicking. Pampered little princes getting punched in the face. Well done Bordeaux for saving rugby.
I hope lions win against Leinster in the quarterfinals
Let's not forget that based on form and points, Bordeaux are in just fifth position in the Top 14 leaderboard.
Mccarthy should get a normal haircut lol. It was utter dominance from UBB. Beating the French champions in the quaters, the English champions in the semis and then the URC champions in the finals. Best team ever. We are U! B! B!. Love from India.
Dont like this diving over people for a try lark. Sheehan in the Lions tour and now McCarthy at it. Defenders will need to stand upright near the line, thus more head contact?
It was over in the first half
You have to admire the total control of both Montpellier and Bordeaux - Begles this weekend. Both teams fully deserved their wins The Top 14 have still a way to go, as does the URC. Thank you Premier Sports.
If louis bielle-biarrey doesn't win world player of the year this year there is something very wrong. He's a joy to watch...unless you are a leinster fan of course.
Well done Bordeaux, definitely the benchmark of club rugby. If Leinster is the next best thing after Bordeaux then that's a concern for rugby in general. Leinster literally needed the officials to jump in and help them with that disgraceful yellow card.
Very nice venue too that Bilbao stadium. It looks like it was built for rugby. Nice and upwards.
That put a smile on my face. Congrats Bordeaux! From South Africa
Leinster Humiliated 🙆
The first yellow was weird but what surprised me the most is that the try just after was allowed. McCarthy clearly jumps over Poirot to avoid the tackle. It is clearly forbidden by the law 9.11 according to the clarification 3-2022....
that 5th try was so slow....you telling me that no one bothered to chase him...lack of interest
3:02 yellow card for that is the most ridiculous thing I can recall seeing. If anyone thinks Leinster were hard done by, give your head a wobble
Bordeaux bet Leinster out the Gate today. Game was over after 25 Minutes. Nobody could have lived with them. For Leinster these last 8 seasons, 5 Final losses, 2 Semi Final losses and 1 QF Loss. 8 years of abject failure in Europe. Cullen has to go.
Pretty poor advert for rugby IMO to have the final of the supposed most elite competition be so one-sided. Hopefully Leinster will finally see sense and Cullen will go after this season. With the players and the facilities Leinster have, to have only one trophy to their name in 5 years is pretty woefull.
