The orginal manufacturers don't want to make replacement parts, so ethics are out the window there, the more repo parts ont he market the better for keeping the orignals running and allowing people to drop whatever parts they want into a new build.
If manufacturers made cars we wanted then there would be no market for this. I support it all the way

Retired from collision and restoration as a paint and body tech. In the couple decades I worked in the industry the China aftermarket parts went from almost unusable to nearly as good or equal to the fit and quality of OEM. I’m confident these products will be amazing in no time. Much nicer than rust repair and fabrication in many cases.
I think it's supposed to translate to "if the products have no quality then we have no dignity" basically saying they are making good stuff cuz their dignity is on the line lol
This is the best thing to hit car manufacturing in decades. Making legit whole body replicas of cars from the eras when cars had souls.

I really hope this works out well long term. If someone gets a list of aftermarket parts to fit they'd be able to sell them like cobra kit cars!!
It's all we want: reliable, easily repaired, easily modified vehicles that don't cost $40,000.00. Not one person I personally know wants an iPad slapped onto the dashboard, or a screen instead of basic gauges.

I worked in Shanghai for a summer internship. The work culture for lunch breaks is fucking awesome. Every single person takes a nap for an hour. It makes the rest of the day so much more pleasant.
When the west and Europe is trying to kill off these car enthusiasts car with EV and stricter rules and crap like that, The Chinese is actually making stuff to keep the car enthusiasts cars alive. Love it. It’s amazing.
Its crazy to think that some of these are better than the OG cars parts, the simple step of galvanizing them is already a massive improvement. This is fire.
You got to give credit where credit is due and that is absolutely amazing on the variety of cars they can create there.
This is incredible. Many years ago I was building a 72 Datsun 240z that was rusted to hell, but had to quit the project because my welding skills just werent there yet. Now, I can just buy a full perfect body and just swap the parts into it... amazing.
I've used most of these panels on my Mustang...the fit and finish is remarkable!
wow that factory is CLEAN! edit: I feel like I have to add that I'm suprised because plasma cutters produce a lot of dust and not because I was expecting some sort of technological backwater.
