Everyone please sand/scuff and clear coat it after with 2k automotive clear it’ll keep the resin from yellowing from uv rays and will make it last way longer and it makes scratches easier to repair.

It's called infusion. It's a way to increase material to resin ratio. Also, it uses less resin over all compared to wet layup. There's a hybrid method where you do wet layup and put it in a vacuum, but I can't remember the benefits of that.
