Stuck Lug Nut Trick 🔧

Original Video Credit: IG/witchcraftforge Heavy truck lug nuts can seize so tightly that normal hand tools are no longer enough to break them free. In this setup, a hydraulic floor jack pushes upward on a large wrench to multiply the applied force far beyond human strength. As pressure builds, the steel wrench visibly flexes and stores large amounts of potential energy. A hammer strike then sends a sharp vibration through the tool, helping break the static friction holding the nut in place. The twist in this repair is that many older heavy duty trucks use left hand threaded lug nuts on one side of the vehicle. Instead of loosening the nut, the setup was accidentally tightening it even further due to the reversed thread direction. Techniques like this can be extremely dangerous because the stored force inside the wrench and jack can release violently if a tool slips or breaks. Heavy vehicle repairs should always be performed with proper safety equipment and correct thread direction knowledge. No copyright infringement intended.
