Splinter Cell Double Agent had big shoes to fill after the release of Chaos Theory. Did it fill those shoes? Probably not. But I played it anyway. How it feels to be a Shadownet Spy
you're never gonna let that kill go aren't you
Double Agent was flawed, but the atmosphere was something special as I look back at the series
Ubisoft was way ahead of their time when they decided to create spy animations for people with short attention span.
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I did the Leonardo DiCaprio point at the TV screen meme. I knew exactly what it was. The Mission Impossible music and reference was perfect. I love Double Agent, but Chaos Theory has my heart. You should do Blacklist. I really enjoyed the classic playlist.
it may not be the chaos theory game but chaos theory bank theme in the video = 🔥
Now we need Blacklist Spy vs. Merc video
I didn’t know the Act Man discord April Fools Day bit guy was real
6:40 What a night lmao
Man I wish I had internet when I played Pandora Tomorrow. DA, CT, and PT had one of the more unique multiplayer modes of that time
I tell everybody the best Spies vs Mercs game mode would be a Chaos Theory/Double Agent hybrid. Chaos Theory with the technicalities and Double Agent with the fluidity. Double Agent took away all the gadgets but it did improve the movement evasion with its hotkeyed escape moves. I like Chaos Theory the most but Double Agent was absolutely, unquestionably my best Spies vs Mercs... but that dang heartbeat sensor really killed the stealth for spies. Gotta say, I disagree with mercs getting stripped down worse. They already have the heartbeat sensor, unlimited grenades, and if you *really* know the verticality of the maps, that drone is a pain in the ass. I also notice you have the Swat Suit equipped. Another funny suit to wear to freak out the true noobs of the game haha You should cover Blacklist next for the lolz. It added having more gadgets back(Yet changed their effect) but then decided to change the fundamental SvM rules that Double Agent decided to keep. I'm glad Act Man is getting into Splinter Cell. We really need a big voice for the series.
"Yer mission is divided in-PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFRRR" -Command
I shall await the blacklist sessions
Did someone say Chaos Theory?
12:55 NO THE LOGICAL THING WOULD HAVE BEEN TO START WITH PANDORA TOMORROW, THE GODMOTHER OF GOOD MP : D
Double dump agent *
For me DA SvM v1 was definitely enjoyable during it's first few years after game release. Much more of a population to help with it's 3v3 format. If there was a variety in game modes for SvM (like from it's Coop Challenge/DA modes), custom parameters to set up 2v2 matches, and a little bit of elements from CT SvM's gameplay transferred over. In my strongest opinion that would've help further the lifespan of DA SvM. I've play a ton of DA SvM in the past during live server days and did enjoyed it for what it was in the past, (especially utilizing the Jammer's equipment aka Alarm Snare even though it was pretty buggy and crashes games lol). Nowadays people still play Enhanced DA SvM. While Enhanced DA does tackle the unbalanced parts of DA SvM making it a better experience, in my opinion it still doesn't nail it when it comes to the fixes. Overall like it was mentioned in the video, DA SvM can still be a fun game to play with friends nowadays, but CT SvM will always have an unique charm and attraction since PT SvM successfully passed the torch to CT SvM
Noted, party game added to the list
This game brings back good memories I hated playing as a merc though
most of the folks who remember this game (like me) are now close to or are 30. and i feel fuckin OLD bro this game was so damn chaotic and had no reason being as fun as it was in mulitplayer.
