You've reached the end
You are, by far, the wisest person on social media.
Sometimes we just don't have the bandwidth, and then the sun comes out...
oh! did not expect to cry when i clicked on this but "you won't be crawling through windows forever" made me tear up, thank you <3
I feel this so deeply. As I write this my toilet is broken; after I use it, I have to put two pitchers of water in the tank and then flush it. It’s been about 2 years. And the kicker, I live in a rental building and the super will fix it for free. But the thought of cleaning the whole apartment, composing an email and then waiting a couple days (potentially messing up my clean) for him to get here is just too much for me atm. So 2 pitchers before each flush is saving me.
Heya im a audhd pda teen currently going though gcses you have no idea how much i needed to hear this from the bottom of my heart thank you <33
I haven't been able to recognize who I am recently, I needed to hear this. The lady I needed to be back then isn't who I need to be now and that's such a scary yet beautiful thing. Thank you ❤
I feel this in so many ways…coming through years of survival doing my variations of your crawl through the window. Thank you for this. For reminding all us humans walking complex paths that no one season is for always.
I love your content. You are so smart, intuitive and loving. Your kids are very blessed to have you! Please keep loving your life!
(love the wreath) This is so true. I didn't notice my house because my brain just didn't have the space to think about anything except the next hurdle i needed to flop over. Part of getting out of survival mode was both a blessing but then also a curse. because i could see these things that my brain had ignored, and they looked terrible. Like how could i let it get this bad?!?! oh yeah...thats how.
Damn, I have been wondering how I’ll get back to doing things. I lost my dad a few months ago and I’ve been just surviving since. I start a new job soon and I want thinking about what to wear for my first day last night, like someone who cares! It’s not a dream job, but it is something that I have to do several days a week. It will be an income that I need, and it’s something different for me. It’s my next step in not being a blob. I’m going to be okay, but I might need a new (to me) outfit. Survivor me wants to be cool for this comeback 😂
I hope you write a book someday :) Your storytelling reminds me of one of my favorite authors, Shauna Niequist.
Thank you you are truly making a difference with all your content. Just think you might be someone’s only source of encouragement that day, God uses us to help others
I really needed to hear this tonight thank you so much <3
Thanks Ma
I can't express how much I needed to hear this! <3
😭 you are brilliant. Your perspective is so powerful and enriching and fortifying. Thank you for sharing :)
❤Very true, love that wreath by the way❤
Thank you. Needed to hear this.
❤️❤️
Those of us who are blessed are also distracted by tragedy enough so that a way out of just the simple stuff takes quiet thoughtful moments to think around.... I myself just recently finally unlocked my outside shed after two months of frustration with a frozen lock. Realised in a rare quiet moment, that I could simply unscrew the hinge, which ended up taking 2 minutes. 😂 One of MANY examples....❤❤❤
