NVIDIA has talked a lot of game lately about AI agents "with PCs," its partners have announced distributed mini data centers that can be installed for cloud gaming at the neighborhood and homeowner level (to reduce ping, but without any ownership or control by the property owners), and has not only suggested, but outright said that terminal-based cloud-connected computing is the future. Meanwhile, Taiwan has raided several companies accused of smuggling NVIDIA GPUs to China. When you see R0de arm stand but then the Mic is Shure... You are truly in-Shured....
Everyone having their own AI makes me think we're quickly approaching a Cyberpunk scenario where we inevitably need to kill the internet as we know it.
From micro slop to Linus jet tips and evil graphic cards 😮 the tech space is wild right now 😂
Hopefully we get a video of testing foreign gpus in the future. 🤞
Ah yes, the death of Personal Computing will make way for Hive Mind Computing
I want a card that spits PIXELS and TRIANGLES. Not 'Tensors'. Not 'Tokens'. PIXELS and TRIANGLES.
Steve, thank you, I wish there were more positive things to report but we're doomed with these greedy corporate scumbags. God bless you!
Some tech conglomerate was going to build a solar farm in and around Bay County, Florida, and now it wants to make it a giant AI data center right next to our freshwater reserve for like three counties.
I was there at the start, I'm here where it ends. What a ride, thank you for allowing me to be a part of the generation that had it best. When I was a kid I used to think that the best gaming will go past me, as it will develop and grow, and I would only grow older. Now I know, the best gaming is way behind us. Thank you for letting me be a part of this. Elwro, Spectrum, Commodore, ATARI, Amiga, PC, hardware graphic, voodoo, ATI, nvidia, MATROX, hardware sound (thank you Creative), hardware physics AGEIA (not thank you nvidia). This was exactly what I wanted from this world, and I got this. Gamer Nexus thank you for doing a good work.
Full circle, back to essentially netbooks. What a timeline
This is why competition is important.
They are not "making money", they are just plain fkng stealing it from everyone else.
Jensen made the "Anakin is dead, I am Darth Vader" bit, not word to word but holy f
15:00 "us humans" bold of him to join us as a "human"
So they want to use your land, water, and electric and then charge you on top of that while you're also paying for the land, water, and electric for them
I have to say i am really impressed with you guys. You are quickly becoming the most trusted source in consumer tech news. Kudos.
"losers don't wear sweetass leather motorcycle jackets like this, huh? who's the loser now dad!"
A handful of people have decided that unlimited growth, the enshitification of everything, the consolidation of all wealth, and the complete exhaustion of all natural resources is not just "business as usual" but the ultimate goal. Give it 5-10 years and we'll be back to company stores and Nvidia-Bucks. Work hard and earn your Scrip.
