I know he doesn't read YouTube comments anymore (and for good reason) but someone please tell Enelle that, the reason he struggles so much against Queen, is because she doesn't actually scale herself as the fight goes on, just (slowly) buffs the Minion, and he does way, way less damage than she does once he dies. The play is actually to go in hard on her at first, while it's still feasible to block through the Minion's damage--because as you've seen, it's not reasonable to put up enough block to survive her solo attacks.

NL first run deciding to take an elite with 2 curses and deadly poison is truly incredible. AND deciding to take 14 damage instead of 2 common cards, which was EXACTLY WHAT HE NEEDED TO SURVIVE THE ELITE.
its been a while but im on the first fish boss watching him play the beckons instead of discarding it with dagger throw and i gotta say its nice to know some things never really change

Spending energy playing beckons and not using discard on the beckons is certainly a choice
