But having Apple release the 18 Pro models in September and then announce the normal 18 models in March or April is just weird
It’s hard to believe that Apple would push the release to after the Christmas buying season.
I upgrade when my current phone dies.
Sounds like they want more money so they’ll release the expensive ones first so those who must have the new iPhones will pay more since they don’t want to wait, while the ones who don’t care will move to April purchases. Either way it’s all about money
4:57 This is incorrect. A bump up to 12GB RAM in the 18 would not be doubling the RAM over the 17, which has 8GB. Last standard iPhone with 6GB was the 15.

No Innovations
I have two iPhones. The 12 and 15 pro Max. I’m good. I don’t need to upgrade yet. However, when I do, I will be honest the E range is something I would deeply consider and I think would be very suitable for me I just hope they keep it up
Or just save money all together and not upgrade this year zzz Also 12Gb of RAM for flagship in 2026 is just a typical Apple thing to do, just like their incremental increase in battery.
Set the camera control to "double tap to wake" to activate and it solves all the accidental launches. I now use it every time to quickly launch the camera app.
