it seems like what people dont understand right now, is that the trade ups create normal skins, not souvenirs and the ability for you to turn any skin into a souvenir is only for matches currently going on as of Cologne 2026 this literally just does not affect old souvenirs

Honestly high end souvenir reds may just be worth more now because when you use souvenir pinks to trade up to a red you don’t get a souvenir red as a result. Collectors may want genuine souvenir reds more because it’s way more rare to have one since it legitimately had to get pulled.
