I ask again, PLEASE try out dimensional doors, it's not a horror mod but it*definitely* has elements of terror: It's a liminal space dungeon crawler filled with traps and lore, *and* it has really fun waystone like spatial utility blocks based around loot from the dungeons.

44:30 so everyone knows the youtube algorithm recommends things based on your watch history and preferences, but it works in batches by recommending it to groups of people at a time. So like it will start with Group A for example (people who have similar watch histories), and if a majority of people in Group A interact with the video then it will know to recommend the video to more people like in group A, then it will switch over to another group, Group B, and if they don't interact with it then it will know to stop recommending it to those types of people and essentially fine-tune who the video is built for, until finally it gets an idea of who to recommend the video to and then bulk send it out to basically everyone that it fits for a few days later. This is why you hardly ever see videos pop off in the first few hours (outside of some extreme examples), and why it seems like videos will pop off randomly after a few days when originally it wasn't doing too good. In theory it's a good way to further figure out people's preferences, but it does stink really bad for creators because one minute you might be in a group that loves the content you put out, but then get switched over to a group that hates it, and makes it seem as though youtube killed the video or shadowbanned you or something. More than likely in the next week or two you will randomly see a weird influx in the video again from the algorithm fully figuring out what demographic the video is made for but it does suck in the short term. goddamn I'm a nerd holy
