On this channel, you’ll find long-form video essays about gaming’s biggest stories from studio collapses and corporate greed to the creative risks that still push the medium forward. I break down industry trends, publisher decisions, and the economics behind how games are made, marketed, and sold. Whether it’s GTA 6, Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate 3, Path of Exile 2, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Pokémon, or the next doomed live-service experiment, I cover how the industry’s biggest names keep shaping and breaking the games we play. From deep dive analysis on publishers like EA, Bungie, Blizzard, Activision, Ubisoft, Sony, and Microsoft to commentary on indie hits like Palworld and Expedition 33, every video cuts through the marketing to get to what actually matters: how this industry works, who it’s failing, and why players deserve better.

Shift Up is stepping away from Sony with their planned Stellar Blade 2 release. I can't fucking wait.
This is a "When Gondor calls for aid, Rohan will answer!" Type of situation.
I'll buy this game just on the principle they're trying to set. Vote with your dollars.
Based devs.
This is absolutely not "Just for profit". They just put themselves in debt to someone else for 25+ million to pay their way out of Epic exclusivity. They have absolutely moved closer to the edge of disaster as a risk and they are betting on players. I am absolutely buying this day 1.
We collectively do not hate the media enough.
I hope the game is good. I really want to support them, but also I want a good game to play. If it's both, it's a win for everybody BUT those morons.
I still haven't played Lords of the Fallen 1 but the more I see from LotF2 makes me want it more.
Who remembers when the developers of CI got banned from their own game's subreddit for asking players if they wanted attractive characters? (which was overwhelming in favour of attractive characters). Those reddit mods are the legacy media are the kind of people criticizing CI games.
When the corrupt mainstream media hates you, then you know that you are doing something right.
apropos Media: "MixTape" has 250 players atm.
If we don't purchase these games, we deserve all the BS we get. Support those who support you
it's so refreshing to be heard by devs my first time was Crimson desert and now we have another game that putting the players 1st. am definitely playing lords of the fallen 2
It’s funny how a few videos ago I made a comment saying studios need to learn to say no to publisher acquisitions and got blasted in the comments saying it’s impossible or would be “the death of indie devs”. And yet here’s proof that not only can these studios say no, they can outright break partnerships and be more successful as a result
The first game that i will preorder to support based devs.
"And you will have my Axe!"
15:31 Imagine being so far gone that you seriously put out an article with a title that describes bikini armor as boring.

The same people saying mixtape is a 10/10 are the ones trying to shape the industry
