As a neutral rugby fan this game was an awesome watch. Looking like next weeks Hurricanes vs Crusaders will be a sellout. As the comp gets closer to the business end we are witnessing some awesome games.

The Canes, Crusaders and Chiefs would easily put 40+ on any of the big euro and saffa club sides. The only weak point of the crusaders is first five and lock but once S Barrett is back that will likely be sorted to some degree. The Chiefs (maybe their props arent as good) and in particular the Canes dont have any real weakness. Totally packed stadium. Iv watched a few euro club games recently and nobody was turning up other than the big teams. Most of the games they are playing in URC are meaningless rubbish there is too many teams in that comp.
Congrats to Crusaders. How many times do they beat the Chiefs in last 10mins. Chiefs again steal defeat from jaws of Victory. They missed Mcenzie. Only team that know how to dominate for the majority of the eighty are the canes.
I don't have a dog in this fight, but Taukieaho's try from the maul shouldn't have been awarded. He and Satiti broke away from the maul, with the non-carrying Satiti in the lead, obstructing the Crusaders defenders. I love rugby, but it's a desperately broken game for the sake of "entertainment"
Definitely a knock on before lords try not sure why it wasn’t checked and why did the crusaders not get the penalty before halftime because the ref definitely gave long advantage at other times but not to the crusaders in that instance? Both teams gave it all and were so committed in defence the top teams can beat anyone on their day comes down to a couple of moments in the game. Whoever wins this year will have to overcome a hurricanes side that doesn’t make those mistakes but take every chance that comes there way
