I remember when Steve started calling habs games back in '21. The poor guy (and I say that sincerely) just had his heart ripped out by the Habs coming back from down 3-1 to the Leafs and winning in 7. Steve did something brave and classy. Montreal was the only Canadian team left, so he started covering them. He'll never admit it but he secretly likes the Habs, not as much as the Leafs of course but he has respect and a begrudging admiration for les Canadiens. I can't say I blame him because the more you get to know the Habs, the more you start to like them. It's just a classy organisation all around! Cheers to you Steve! Congratulations on five years!
