4:57 I’m a geek, I think you’re trying to say tamarisk or salt cedar. Each are interchangeable common names for the invasive brush species from Southeast Asia. Introduced by the Department of Agriculture in the late 1800s into early 1900s the objective was to stabilize soils and stream banks. Unfortunately, like most situations like this, trying to solve one problem causes 10 more. Great video!
