The only thing this machine is missing for India is ventilated seats. I understand its a CBU & wasn’t equipped keeping Indian conditions in mind but when such a big company decides to introduce a product in a large market, they should at least tweak certain aspects with respect to that country. Indian conditions now need UV cut glasses, ventilated seats and no sunroof.
The best thing is that this car doesn’t have sunroof
At about 30 lakhs I would seriously consider it. But spoke to a dealer and he said they will price it between 45 and 55 lakhs. That’s an insane price to pay! It is a mid sized suv. At 50 or 55 lakhs why wouldn’t I stretch a bit and consider a Camry!? At 45 lakhs the Kodiaq is larger, more spacious, and equally, if but better, stacked with tech. I don’t care if it’s a CBU. That’s Honda’s problem. As a buyer I don’t care whether they import or build in India. As a buyer it’s the price I am paying for a product that matters to me.

The dashboard is a HUGE upgrade. Its their international design used in Civic , Accord. I think it deserves a mention. Overdrive you really dont have unqualified auto journalists.

If this vehicle would be manufactured in India, I would consider acquiring it, as this would likely result in a more competitive price point. Honda's strategic planning appears to have overlooked this potential, as there would have been significant market interest for this model within the 20 lakh price segment.

Why it has copied Maserati grill
When I saw this vehicle physically, it felt very practical and thoughtfully designed. There’s no unnecessary gimmick or nonsense everything feels purposeful. The quality of materials used is seriously top-notch when compared to other cars in India like the Seltos, Creta, etc. The overall fit and finish are excellent. The Honda ZR-V is not meant for every buyer; it will appeal more to people who have a practical mindset and value long-term reliability. Notably, the powerful engine combined with the product quality is one of its biggest strengths, making it a highly practical and well-balanced car.
