It's the rules. You'll notice the OK sign was in the book. Had there been no OK sign displayed, the next car would be obliged to stop and help or be disqualified. If the codriver had not displayed the sign, and the next car stopped to render aid, the crashed car would be penalized. This is simply people doing what they're supposed to do.

WRC is the most underrated motorsport IMO. The aesthetic qualities alone are amazing. Some of those helicopter shots can be stunning. Racing through the desert, or narrow hillside roads... its all just so good.

Haven't checked this but I heard that rally drivers have the fastest reaction time of all the driving sports. Having the ability to compute simultaneously so many factors is otherworldly.

This is what you have to do. At ARA events if the driver holds up the ok green sign then the next driver keeps going but if they hold up the red one or no sign then the driver has to stop and help. The road Marshall isnt supposed to help since the drivers help the other drivers and it can he dangerous for the road Marshalls to get on the course especially if a bystander steps on the course while the road Marshall was helping

Thatβs the kind of sportsmanship that you see with most rally teams, they are getting paid to essentially stress test all the new innovations. They get paid either way, but most of them are friends and donβt want to hurt each other.β€

Racers are a breed apart, the navigator, especially this one is beyond even that. And i cant even put into words the raw emotion it triggers in me. My respect, especially knowing the pounding a body takes during a race, crashing hurts like hell, that person would run into a fire for you without hesitation, without pause, thinking in motion. Always thinking, increΓble .Salute

Did anyone else notice that the wrecked car was further back on the road when the other car drove past ? From the helicopter the back wheels were over the white line but from other car pov the white line was almost at middle of the car.
