I was having a chuckle, thinking "obviously not even close, but this will be fun to watch". Damn, that was impressive as hell! I was pleasantly surprised.
People forget that the F1 drivers standing at the bottom of the tables are still F1 drivers, the pinnacle of motorsport drivers. Reflex and speed are in their DNA.
100 year old trees thats been sat there for a really long time... that man might be a rival for will buxton
People don’t realise how talented Liam is in various cars & disciplines, very similar to SVG!
That was sick. Respect to the rally driver being in the car with lawson considering his very limited rally car experience
Saying the Goodwood rally stage "replicates one of the toughest stages in rally" is a bit rich.
People don’t give f1 drivers enough credit. Even those who have made it in the past and haven’t cut it are still seriously seriously quick drivers
That Rally driver helping someone else beat his own time is peek sportsmanship.
Liam is seriously underrated. 3rd in F2, 2nd in DTM, 2nd in Super Formula, learning quickly in F1. This guy can drive the bricks off of anything with 4 wheels.
The best drivers all do the same thing: learn, adapt, push. There’s no way he wasn’t going to be fast. Way to send it, Liam 🍻🔥
8:25 wrong. 0,5s not 0,05s.
Loved seeing the pro rally driver getting hyped about his turns in the last run.
Shoutout to this video for not having even 1 wasted second. Just a tight edit, zero nonsense. Great job, editors.
Seeing him do this is insane! Sure, he had a bad start at F1 RBR, but he's doing really well in VCARB right now this season. All the F1 cars are within .8 of a second of one another which just goes to show how good he and all the other F1 drivers are.
That takes some balls, despite his BS haters he is a proper first class driver. Also an unpopular opinion but I think he is one of the most controlled F1 drivers. Apart from 2 or 3 overblown incidents during the heat of racing early on, he makes very few unforced mistakes in races, and especially practice and qualifying. Apart from a slow crash in Australia when on slicks in the rain I've never seen him crash off clear of other cars. His race in the rain in Brazil last year was outstanding while most other drivers made mistakes. Compare his crash record other inexperienced drivers like Colapinto, Antonelli, Bearman, and Doohan etc
Seeing a fellow kiwi doing well on the big stages is awesome, I love getting up early in the NZ mornings watching Liam, SVG and the 3x kiwis in Indy car. Proud kiwi 🇳🇿🤙
I want full onboard cam
i liked how the rally driver had a big smile as he said he was gonna give pace notes, and an even bigger one when liam said "we'll use gears as my pace notes"
love that rally driver was so calm with Liam in the car, really giving him the support he needed to get him across the line! very impressive
As an ex rallydriver I was like "yeah right" after the first run... but damn... Liam's really got it! And see those eyes in the end.... we're definitely gonna see him back rallying 😎
