The Chevy Silverado is good at being a truck. Trucks should be simple. And should generally have *V-8 motors*. Get yourself some LASFIT Mats! The 2.7 is why I bought my Silverado LT. 100k powertrain warranty, big discounts off msrp at the time, built like a diesel and research says that this powertrain is a super reliable. 2025, 21k miles and love it
You do know you can turn that auto stop start off by simply pushing a button right?
Yooo this truck is really nice but I am just 8 years old and I am first🎉🎉🎉🎉
The most underrated almost never talked about feature on the GM full-size trucks is the ability to have the heated seat set to only heat the seat back and not the bottom. In any other vehicle I have to shut the heated seat off because my legs are burning when I want the heat on for the back. I hope they continue this in the next generation.
Charlie, I am more or less all right with this truck's fair to middlin' level of okayness. 😉
I'm sorry, but no full size 4 cylinder truck will ever no matter what you do to it it will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever make any type of sence to me.
It also automatically turns on your heated steering and seat when it's cold out. And it automatically sets the parking brake when your on a hill.
That truck should be $35K
RAM1500 6 seater has that compartment under middle seat, AND an additional cabinet in front of the middle seat under the AC controls.
Charlie in terms of the interior and highway driving how is living with this compared with that silver ram y’all had? Also if you used adaptive cruise on either lmk
these trucks are 95% reliable. do regular maintenance( oil-4000 to 5000 mile intervals, trans fluid at 45,000 mile intervals) pulls 9000 lbs consistently and reliably. 380 hp 450 lb ft torque. and gaps 5.3's and 6.2's. LOL!! V8 sound is missing, but I have 2 toyota v8's if I need to hear the exhaust.
Went into the dealer recently, got them down to a 600 a month lease on a rst 2.7 2wd, do you think that’s a good deal?
I have one as a work truck and I like it, I wouldn’t personally buy a GM truck again previously owned a 2003 and a 2014 both 5.3s both had major trans issues. GM has gone to trash in general and they have issues with their trans and 3 out of 4 of their half ton engines.
Instead of being so cylinder minded, focus on the HP, Torque and towing capacity...then test drive it! Really impressive torque in lower RPM's.
